Mississauaga Ontario Canada
2 Firefighters were injured at a dwelling fire this afternoon in Mississauga (CN) around 1600 hours.
Companies had heavy fire showing on arrival and after Firefighters entered the house, part of the first floor collapsed, injuring 2 members....they were taken to hospital, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known. More details will be posted later We gratefully acknowledge Chief Billy Goldfeder & the Secret List for this information and will keep you posted with updates as they are made available.

Update
There were actually 3 members involved....not 2, Billy and the boys missed one, I went and got ahold of my buddy whos friend is a BattChief there and found out from him the following
2 FF's treated for minor injuries and released from hospital that night, 1 FF kept with more severe injuries for additional treatment and observation, they are all expected to return to active duty but are not sure as of when, the 2 lesser injured will have a couple days downtime no doubt and the other lad is still being kept tabs and I will give more updates on his condition as I receive them thanks to my buddy Randy at SeverneBridgeFD back home in Ontario! TheBunkerBootTelegraph strikes again!

Thanks for the update Kimmie. A well deserved downtime for them indeed. Glad to hear they're out of the hospital and that the third isn't too far behind.
