well yeah it looks like a helluva gauntlet run for sure...however...we dont get many cases where we are called respond to 3 alarm playground fires and very rarely are we ever required to effect a primary search of one either.

Now Seriously...yeah I can see some practical applications of this technique being utelized by some departments...however... my biggest concern here in North America is the fact that the majority of playgrounds are utelized by persons other than small children and for activities considerably more deviant than swinging on the monkeybars and playing on the teetertotters.....

even the majority of school playgrounds now days are used by adolescants whos idea of playing is dabbling in illegal narcotics...one of the things Ide have done with this exercise would be an indepth sweep of all the sanded areas for sharps, broken glass, crackpipes etc etc....

I wouldnt have anyone crawling around on their hands and knees until such time as it was declared all clear because as much as I dread the idea of a small child coming into contact with these articals, I also dread any personnel falling victem to unseen dangers also....

once the areas 100% FOR SURE AND FOR CERTAIN ALL CLEAR then fine....string the rope and let em chase it till hell wont have it... BUT NOT before!

Looks like a pretty neat exercise I think Ide like to try that. I can definately see Kim's point though. there could be all sorts of nastyness there. you always gotta watch out.
