it's basically the same material as the new generation fire shelters, available in large rolls, it just gets wrapped around and stapled on the house, then the next level is overlapped, time consuming but some of these insurance companies private contractors do this well in advance of a fire, especially for remote area difficult to access, with limited water supplies or where it would be too risky to place crews to defend a structure

haha it does look like a jiffy pop house. They were testing something like that on Smash Lab one night on the Discovery chanell, but theres was hugh and weighed an ass load and still didnt work well.
