Damn...can't beat the hookup. How's it feeling now? You on any pain medication?

There's a good reason I never step onto the basketball court.

I think he started off tryin to be Kobe Bryant and ended up impersonating Kobe Beef! Them Japenese cattle dont have a very good jumpshot mikey! and their 4 legs dont improve their balance either on the landings!

The question is...did your Kobe impression start off with "Hey y'all...watch this.."

Damn dude, my leg hurts just looking at that.

and no sheep were harmed in the making of this production.......... well, define "harmed".... LOL j/k

DAMN! I'm a certified ortho tech at my ER, and that make me go "HOLY SHIT!"

Hope you get to feeling better... Any talks of surgery or was it a fairly clean fx?

believe it or not, teh radiologist pissed me off....too much swelling to really see the ankle well, so he just read it as negative.

i swear its broken, they're treating it as a sprain. no surgery, very minimal pain management, and a splint/cast which I already cut off. im very dissatisfied with my treatment.

Nice.. They say sprains swell more than fx's, but I've seen about half and half. What type of bruising do you have? Any pooling on the sole of your foot at all?

I'm guessing you had a short posterior orthoglass splint.. A couple inches below your knee to the ball of your foot? We'll only do orthoglass in the ER, even if it is a fx confirmed by xray. They leave plenty of room for swelling so that way you don't end up with either compartment syndrome or end up having to come in and have your cast bi-valved. They look stupid as sin, especially if the person hasn't been trained on it, but they serve their purpose well.

I'm hoping they at the very least referred you to an orthopaedic surgeon so he can take more xrays and at least decide if you need more fx management?
