way back in april i did a station officers course (sim rank to those in the us know as capt)
anywa in may our chief resigned so me n another guy who did the same course were made acting station officers awaiting our course results as our brigade had been lacking a deputy for a yaer or more there were some probs we were not allowed to operate without a chief so we are for the interium under the chief of our 2 closest paid brigades (was sorta complicated cos we havent had a deputy for a year or so) anyway so now the brigade is being run by us 4 station officers + 2 elected members of the brigade anyway things have been hectic we pretty quickly got 5 new recruits (and very quickly reakised we needed to cap that cos we reallywere working to accomodate them and our existing people) anyway the brigade is going in leaps n bounds while we thought this time might be painful/hard it so far hasnt its been fast and busy ... of our old members weve had a few 100% muster nights ... n i dont think i can recall 1 off those previously in the past 13 yrs ok n now for the best news last week i got confirmation that id passed my so course ![]() ![]() um n maybe naughty or just more of a buzz for me my mate still has a bit more work to get his pass sorry i prob neednt or shouldnt have told yous that but those of you who have heard the bs in my brigade the last few yrs will appriciate its extra buzz sorry i did hold on to this news it didnt seem right to post it when we had the news of our mate carl's illness
