interesting article and one sentence caught my attention:

"Rather than steel and aluminum, RFPD chose a strong, lightweight poly body."

lighweight poly body,is that new in fire service and apparatus?

The Poly Body is something introduced by Darely several years ago, it has been running hot and cold streaks in apparatus mfg since then, currently on another hot streak. That will change with the price of steel dropping recently.
They spent a lot of time specing out this truck, I hope it works well for them.

I am not crazy about the two position "wet/dry" CAFS setting switch. We are a primarily CAFS using department and have been for 9 years now. It has been our experience that CAFS needs to be adjustable to work with the fire. Your needed concentrate percentages can and will very by heat load and material you are trying to extinguish. Having only a "wet/dry" ( i believe wet was set at .2% and dry being .5%) can render your foam ineffective if the heat or fire loads change during operations.

other than that... What a BADASS truck.
